Gallery.delivery von Sebastian Schmieg ist sowohl eine Gruppenausstellung als auch eine Performance, die online bestellt werden kann. Sie wird per Fahrradkurier in einer „White Cube“-Kuriertasche geliefert. Anders als bei normalen Lieferdiensten macht der Kurier jedoch nicht an der Haustür halt, sondern betritt die Privatwohnung, wo er die Ausstellung aufbaut und die Werke zum Verkauf anbietet. In diesem Livestream wird Sebastian Schmieg gemeinsam mit dem/der Fahrradkurier, der schon viele Ausstellungen in Berlin durchgeführt hat, über die bisherigen drei Durchläufe dieses Projekts und den Kontext, in den es eingebettet ist, sprechen.
Der Vortrag wird auf Englisch gehalten.

Gallery.Delivery by Sebastian Schmieg is both a group exhibition and a performance that can be ordered online. It is delivered by bike courier in a „White Cube“ courier bag. However, unlike with normal delivery services, the courier doesn’t stop at the doorstep; instead, he enters the private home where he sets up the exhibition and offers the works for sale. In this livestream, together with the bike courier who has delivered many exhibitions in Berlin, Sebastian Schmieg will talk about the three iterations of this project so far and the context in which it is embedded.
The talk will be held in English.
