The opening of the exhibition coincides with Juneteenth, a day celebrating Black rights and culture, and commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African American people. The Black Sex Workers Collective will kick off our exhibition with two performances on our opening night.

The Black Sex Workers Collective is a philanthropic arts project amplifying global Black Sex Worker voices. Their goal is to create a responsive space for the unique needs of current and former Black Sex Workers. They provide peer support, legal assistance, housing and financial aid. June 19th -Juneteenth- marks The BSWC’s 4th anniversary.
