INTERCEPTION

𝙳𝙴:
INTERCEPTION ist eine Installation in Live-Präsenz von Dana Gingras/Animals of Distinction. Als physische Ergänzung zur zweiten Episode der Jump-Cut-Serie präsentiert Gingras eine Dauer-Solo-Performance, in der sie ihren physischen Körper mit dem körperlosen virtuellen Körper, der auf den Projektionen zu sehen ist, in Beziehung setzt. In diesem Übergangsraum zwischen dem Leibhaften und dem Digitalen erforscht sie mit ihrem Körper Virtualität, Intimität und Kontakt. Jump Cut #2 ist eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen Marie Davidson, Dana Gingras und Sabrina Ratte. Die Jump Cut Reihe ist Teil der Ausstellung „Connected Alienation / Vernetze Entfremdung“ im Kunstraum Kreuzberg.

𝙴𝙽𝙶:
INTERCEPTION is an installation featuring the live presence of Dana Gingras/Animals of Distinction. In physical complement to the second episode of the Jump cut series, Gingras presents a durational solo performance, bringing her physical body into relation with the disembodied virtual body you see on screen. In this transitional space between the live and the digital, the body explores virtuality, intimacy and connection. Jump Cut #2 is a collaboration between Marie Davidson, Dana Gingras and Sabrina Ratte. The Jump Cut series is part of the current exhibition „Connected Alienation / Vernetze Entfremdung“ at Kunstraum Kreuzberg.
